The community waste sector has as strong history of networking which has strengthened the sector and provides an excellent way to share innovative ideas and knowledge. In addition to the Community Recycling Network UK there are national, regional and material and activity specific networks representing and supporting community waste organisations. These networks provide various levels of support and representation to their member organisations.
CRN UK, London CRN, FRN and CCN have formed a Community Interest Company to build upon these close ties between their networks. REalliance CIC has been created to benefit all the networks and all their members.
These networks are designed to meet the specific needs of groups dealing in these items or materials. They can also provide some guidance on setting up groups within their specialism.
