The CRN provides a range of services to its Full and Associate Members, as well as consultancy to the public sector, to businesses and wider social enterprise organisations.

For our Full and Associate members...

We provide a monthly e-newsletter - The Waste Paper which provides updates on relevant recycling stories from the news, updates on members' activities and funding opportunities.

We also provide an information and networking service, we are there to answer any enquiries or help put members in touch with each other to increase the knowledge transfer across the sector.

All CRN members can be found on our searchable online directory and there is free advertising on our website for members on the jobs section, the training pages.

In addition to this we also provide services to wider resource recovery organisations through our regional coordinators in the North West and Yorkshire and the Humber regions which include a regional newsletter and network development, and through the Realliance Third Sector Capacity Building Programme through which we provide case workers for the sector.

Consultancy services to Businesses and the Public Sector

The CRN UK has expertise in many areas of the resource recovery sector from brokering collections between national businesses and re-use organisations to working with local authorities to develop a thriving community sector.

Our staff have a great deal of experience in advising business, the public sector and other social enterprises on engaging with community waste organisations, material collections and wider waste issues.

We also have consultants from within the sector with a range of specific skills and experience who can work in association with the CRN to deliver consultancy on their area of expertise.

Training

The CRN UK runs training courses appropriate for all different types of organisations. We offer in-house training and have trained over 400 delegates from business, the public sector and third sector organisations.

We currently run the following courses:
